Floor Safety Sign Projector
The SL150 illuminated signage projector projects a highly visible safety sign onto the floor, such as a Warning: Forklift Trucks pictogram, a STOP sign, a no-entry warning or any other prevention message suited to your industrial environment.
When combined with WACS wireless technology, the projector switches on automatically when a forklift truck, handling vehicle or other vehicle fitted with a WACS beacon approaches the area to be secured.
This dynamic illuminated warning solution attracts more attention than a static sign and helps improve safety at intersections, building exits, pedestrian crossings and industrial traffic areas.
Unlike conventional floor markings, the illuminated sign is projected only when a risk is detected. The warning is therefore more noticeable and remains effective for pedestrians and drivers.
The WACS transmitter beacon installed on the forklift truck communicates wirelessly with the receiver positioned near the projector. As soon as the vehicle enters the configured detection zone, the system automatically activates the illuminated projection.
The fully automatic operation requires no action from the driver. WACS radio technology also eliminates the need to install communication cables between the vehicle and the warning device.
The projected graphic is produced on an HD glass image disc. It can include a standard safety sign, text, a pictogram, a logo or a combination of several elements.
This illuminated warning projector can be installed in many hazardous areas:

The projection size mainly depends on the distance between the projector and the floor, as well as the selected lens.
With the standard 20° lens, the projection width is approximately equal to the projection distance multiplied by 0.35.
These values are indicative. Actual visibility also depends on ambient light, floor colour, projector angle and the selected graphic.
The projector is generally installed at height on a wall, roof structure, post or above a doorway. It must be aimed towards the area where the illuminated sign is to appear.
The WACS receiver controls the projector through a suitable relay or electrical control device. The time delay can be configured to keep the projection active throughout the vehicle’s passage.
Electrical installation, projector adjustment and connection to the WACS system must be carried out by a qualified professional in accordance with applicable regulations and site safety rules.
Depending on the selected configuration, the solution may include:

The graphic is manufactured according to the required safety message. You can select a standard sign such as Warning: Forklift Trucks or STOP, or request a custom design suited to your activity.
For optimum visibility, we recommend a simple pictogram, strongly contrasting colours and a short message that pedestrians can understand quickly.
The projector does not perform the detection directly. A WACS transmitter beacon is installed on the forklift truck. When it enters the defined zone, the WACS receiver automatically switches on the projector.
Yes. Activation is fully automatic. The driver does not need to press a button or switch on the projector manually.
The projector can display a Warning: Forklift Trucks sign, STOP sign, No Pedestrians sign, Slow Down warning, Danger warning, speed limit, pedestrian crossing or a custom graphic.
Yes. The HD glass image disc can include a pictogram, text, logo or safety sign suited to the site’s requirements.
Yes. The projector has an IP65 protection rating and can be used indoors or outdoors, provided it is installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
This model is primarily intended for automatic or timed operation. Continuous use is limited to 16 hours per day. With WACS, a minimum activation time of 30 seconds per trigger is recommended.
The size depends on the distance and lens. With the standard 20° lens, the projection width is approximately 35% of the distance between the projector and the floor.
No. Communication between the beacon installed on the vehicle and the WACS receiver uses dedicated radio technology. Basic operation does not depend on the company’s Wi-Fi network.
Yes. A forklift truck equipped with a WACS beacon can activate different receivers installed in several areas of the site, depending on the system configuration.
Yes. The WACS receiver can be integrated into an installation that includes a projector, siren, flashing light, warning beacon or other compatible signalling equipment.
No. The illuminated projection is a supplementary warning device. It does not replace traffic procedures, mandatory signs, physical protection, driver training or any other required preventive measures.
Installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified professional with the necessary expertise in electrical systems, automation and industrial safety.
The projection distance, ambient light, mounting height, sign size and detection zone must be assessed before installation.
